Very good food, we especially love the delicious salads. The staff was always very friendly and attentive.

The chicken burger patty turned out very small last time. Otherwise everything is always great.

Place is fantastic, decoration is awesome, food is really delicious, worth to visit at least once in life and really fabulous if you are able to taste food here every week, ooooo that would be amazing.

The evening was cool, we had burger and fries. There were two of us here, I didn't eat vegan my boyfriend. 🌱 The vegan alternatives are very sparse on the menu, but they do exist. 🍔 The vegan burger was unfortunately a bit dry and the avocado was still too hard. The non-vegan burger was juicy and fresh and "sau" good according to my friend. 🍟 The sweet potato fries were served with sweet and sour sauce, they were nothing special but tasty. The dessert was served really well and looked really good. ❌There is no such thing as a vegan dessert 👩‍🍳 The staff was really nice and almost cheeky with their relaxed manner, I didn't mind, but certainly not everyone likes it. 📌 The location is beautiful right on the harbor. If you have a good place in the shop, you have a direct view of the harbor basin. 🅿️ Parking is possible directly at the harbor, but parking is difficult when the weather is good in summer or when there is a lot going on. 🐍 You should make a reservation, otherwise there won't be a table, we didn't make a reservation during our visit during the week. So we only had a table for 2 hours. All tables are fully booked in the evenings. 🌷The store looks really well decorated and modern. 📸 The food is served nicely here, so it can also be photographed. Conclusion: No recommendation for vegans on the current menu, for everyone else, enjoy your meal! Burger is on it!

I kind of think it’s a hit or miss depending on who prepared your food. All in all it’s a nice place to eat in at.

Amazing Food and good vibe

We went there because we read in their website that they only used grass-fed meat for their dishes. We tried their burgers and indeed the quality of the meat is on a different league from anything I had tried before. Their burgers are a mix of interesting flavors and the service was also excellent. The location and the decoration finish off the 5 stars on the review as it is a place worth going to just to chill and have a nice time.

Citizens are very small for the money. Small and only piled high, hence the name Hochstapler. I've eaten better citizens, it wasn't my taste. Outside there are only uncomfortable benches without backrests and cushions. Perhaps it is also wanted so that you can quickly make room for the next customers. We lacked the attention to detail. There wasn't even a menu. Only online. If you don't have a cell phone or if you have an elderly person, then you are in a fix. Without sense or understanding, viruses do not settle on paper or plastic! Not customer-friendly at the entrance either. You have to wait until a waitress comes after a while and a piece of paper and pen for the address and presses your hand, then you can look for a place. For us, once and never again.

A really great burger restaurant where even vegans get their money's worth. The service was great and the prices were justified for the quality. Definitely recommendable!

I don't understand all the positive reviews .... There are now so many really good burger places, the impostor is unfortunately not one of them, cool atmosphere and nice service of course, but a great burger looks different ... The meat, although fried pink, crumbles when cut and is totally dry ... just way too little fat to be juicy and the whole burger itself was unfortunately too dry in terms of sauce ... Two stars, one for service, ambience and location and one for the fries with a good dip, which were really great. Above all, you pay 15 € for the Big Daddy and expect an experience and then you are sooo badly disappointed.

A beautifully modern, stylishly furnished restaurant. The interior ambience is very special and rustic. The outside terrace provides a wonderful panoramic view over the canal and the old industrial harbor. (??) There is also a chill lounge with club chairs and tables; as well as some seating on the ground floor, right on the water. The toilets are neat and also very stylish and modern. The food was absolutely great. The homemade sauces gave the burger a special touch, as did the unusual recipe ideas, such as the breaded pickles. The service staff was also super friendly and courteous. Simply nice and personable! It was a pleasure for me :) Gladly again !!

Yesterday we were there with 5 people without a reservation and it felt like we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Our food came after about 30 minutes, even though it was very full. Unfortunately, two of the five burgers were cold and therefore inedible. We are very impressed with the complaint management. Without hesitation, the two cold burgers, along with side dishes, were cleared away and replaced with fresh and hot ones within a very short time. To our great joy and surprise, as a small compensation, we were served two espressos on the house after dinner. During our stay, various waitresses asked us whether everything was okay with the food and whether everything was to our satisfaction. At this point it should be said: something can always go wrong, but then the question is always how to deal with it. It was great here !!!!! We hope it stays that way and would love to come back.

Very delicious burger with a wide selection (also vegetarian). Several beers on tap. Extremely friendly and quick service and a great atmosphere with a view of the harbor. The price is quite expensive (approx. 11 euros per burger without side dish), so rather nothing for in between.

Perfect burger murdered by a bun. Memphis BBQ burger was perfectly seasoned, well cooked and all flavours blended perfectly except for one thing: brioche burger bun was old, dry and completely ruined the whole meal. Bun was so bad that if it had been fresh, I would have rated this place with 5 stars. Keep in mind that Hochstapler server burgers only - bun being the key ingredient component of the only meal they serve Fries were nice and crispy. Service was fast, waiters and waitresses very polite and accomodating.

Great burgers, only one English menu in the restaurant but we were catered for okay. Chips were pre salted, and very salty, but still tasty and plenty of them, and the burger made up for it.

The food was totally delicious. I had a burger without meat, my husband one with meat. Also the dips to the fries were unbelievably good. You put right on the harbor is also very nice. However, you should reserve a table. Due to the nice weather we could sit down on the terrace, upstairs and inside everything was already full. The service was also very good.

Tasty and creative burgers in busy but comfortable and nice atmosphere. I cannot recall what was on my burgers but it was a perfect combination out of sweet spicy salty fruity and meaty not at all like some places where they put a lot of different fancy things on burgers without making sure that they fit together. The waiters are very observant and helpful making sure you get whatever you need. Great place for a dinner. Highly recommended.
